Fly high

Flying high up in the sky
I feet like a free kite
Watching the tiny world
Flying alongside the birds.

The grass looked like a tiny green pool
The woodlands like a vast carpet of green
Dotted with small specks of the season's colors
The rivers like blue satin ribbons
The people like toys
And I felt like a giant
All in a simple dream !

Forgive me

For everything I've said and done,
For everything that made you run,
Everytime I hurt you bad
I'm sorry, I can't see you sad.

Now I'm mild & meek,
Forgiveness is all I seek,
I cast my eyes upon the ground,
Twiddle my thumbs, not making the slightest of sound.

I don't want to run, escape or hide !
I confront you dumb & mute
I'm so tongue-tied
And so I plead with only the soul so resolute.

You smile, I stutter
My limbs start to flutter
And all I have on my lips now is a simple Sorry.

To PSBB, With love

This is dedicated to the 8 years i most cherish in my lifetime...
Here goes....
Gone are the days...but not the memories
Gone are the days when the school reopened in June,
And we settled in our dusty desks and chairs.
Gone are the days
When we queued up in book depot, and got our new books.
Gone are the days
When we chased one another in the corridors during Interval, and rushed back before the next class> started.
Gone are the days
When we had lunch in classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, under the trees and the unforgettable canteens.
Gone are the days
When a single Games period in the week's Time Table, was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons.
Gone are the days
When few rushed at 3:30 to "Conquer" window seats in our School bus or sitting half-asleep in the tortuos tuitions that followed.
Gone are the days
Of Sports Day, and the annual School Day, and the one-month long preparations for them.
Gone are the days
Of the stressful Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Exams, and the most enjoyed holidays that followed them.
Gone are the days
We learnt, we enjoyed, we played, we won, we lost, we laughed, we cried, we fought, we thought.
Gone are the days
But not the memories, which will be lingering in our hearts for ever and ever.

Missing you...

SHOCK

The crashing plane
The derailed coaches
The sinking ship
The smashed cars
The accident victims
The devastated land
The quake-hit ruins
The cruel landslide
The flood havoc
The bloodshed in wars
Murder and Slaughter
All this and more...
Who can witness without sorrow, pity and shock?
